Dualistic thinking is the manner in which we are raised to understand the world in opposites like “good and bad”, “right or wrong”. When you realize that nothing in the real world is 100% good or 100% bad, then you can begin to understand that “Reality is Between the Dualities”. This is an enlightening concept which is my reinterpretation of “The Middle Way” from Buddhism. Seeing the world in opposites might be appropriate for children, whose minds can only comprehend simplistic ideas, but it is totally inappropriate for adults. The problem is that there are few voices that tell us this. This blog will explore the problems of thinking dualistically. It will also attempt to describe theĀ infinite joy and understanding that can be found between the dualities. Enlightenment is like shining a light on that which cannot be seen. May you become enlightened to the Middle Way.

Emptiness is a fundamental concept in Buddhism, but is not an easy one to comprehend, especially for Westerners. Here is a link to an excellent website which focuses on Emptiness, authored by Greg Goode. http://www.emptiness.co
Posted “Evolution in 4 Dimensions” today, which says that human animals see the world in 1, 2, and 3 dimensions which represents duality (conventional world). The 4th dimension is time (space/time) and is essentially non-dual, which explains why so few humans get it… it didn’t have any selective advantage for any animal… until now. Now that it’s needed, few human animals can see (comprehend) it.
